Annual Cultural Program 2011: East Meets West

BAWA organised its 2011 Annual Cultural Program at John Curtin Theatre, Fremantle on 27th August. The program was designed as a cross-cultural fusion taking a step beyond conventional multiculturalism. Participants from different communities including European, Japanese, South East Asian, Australian, and other Indian communities came together to conceive, rehearse for months and deliver the performances together. The performances of total 100+ performers were enjoyed by a capacity crowd in a 450+ auditorium. The event was covered by West Australian, Melville Times, RTR FM and SBS Bangla Radio. The program was supported by Office of Multicultural Interest, UWA and Kulcha. BAWA has raised fund for Telethon during the event.
