Collaboration with BAAWA: Joint Celebration of "A Tribute to Tagore : 150 Years On"

BAWA took a step forward to celebrate this event jointly with BAAWA (Bangladeshi Australian Association of Western Australia); an initiative befitting to the magnitude of the occasion. In its history of almost 30 years of co-existence in Perth, BAWA (then Bangla Samity) and BAAWA has come together for a similar venture only once in the past, to celebrate 130th birth anniversary of Tagore, 20 years back in 1991. A successful outcome marked a new era of cooperation and mutual trust.
