BAWA Annual Concert 2011 was a grand cross-cultural extravaganza. People from acorss communities performed in front of a capacity audience.
A Win for Bangla
Bengali has now been included in the LOTE section of library services in WA. This means starting current financial year (2011-2012) a collection of Bengali books and materials will be developed by State Library WA.

"BAWA hosted Sugata Marjit in Concert on 22nd October at Callaway Auditorium, UWA, in its support to the fading artform of Indian Classical Music. Pt. Sugata Marjit mesmerized the audience with his prowess.
Oikyotaan
Oikyotaan was published during Spring Festival & Durga Puja 2011. The quality of the publication was admired by all. To promote the readership, this year Oikyotaan is available complimentary to all current members of the association.
Revision of Passport and Consular Fees:
The High Commission of India in Canberra is pleased to announce that the Government of India has revised the passport & consular fees with effect from 1st July 2011.
