Durga Puja and Spring Festival

BAWA organised Spring Festival 2011 and Durga Puja on 30th Sep, 1st Oct & 2nd October at South Perth Community Centre, a central location. The festival was well attended with the peak attendence being close to 400 on 1st October evening. In addition to the Puja over 2 days, we had celebrations including a food festival, Durga Bandana, Dhunuchi dance, Skits, Bengali film show. Bijaya Sammilani was organised 2nd October evening with programs as Antakshari & Costume Show. During the event BAWA raised fund for Telethon as well. Oikyotaan was published
