Bengali Books in State Library of WA

Bengali has now been included in the LOTE section of library services in WA. This means starting current financial year (2011-2012) a collection of Bengali books and materials will be developed by State Library WA.

Bengali books are under procurement now and are expected to arrive in the system during April / May 2012

This is a significant milestone for Bengali in WA and we hope to build a good collection of Bengali books in the library system of WA over next few years.
