Sugata Marjit's Concert

BAWA organised Sugata Marjit's Indian Classical Concert on 22nd October 2011 at Callway Auditorium, UWA. The program was organised jointly by BAWA and School of Music UWA in support of Indian Classical Music, a dieing art form. Pt. Sugata Marjit is a noted economist of international repute and is a growing name in the classical vocal circuit. The program was attended by a small audience of Indian Classical enthusiasts cutting across the musical circuits of Perth. Pt. Sugata Marjit mesmerized the audience through the performance that ended with a short interactive session between the performer and audience discussing Indian classical music.
