A Tribute to Tagore: 150 Years On..

BAWA took a step forward to celebrate this event jointly with BAAWA; an initiative befitting to the magnitude of the occasion. In its history of almost 30 years of co-existence in Perth, BAWA (then Bangla Samiti)and BAAWA has come together for a similar venture only once in the past; to celebrate 130th birth anniversary of Tagore 20 years back in 1991. A successful outcome of Tagore’s 150th birth anniversary celebration marked a new era of cooperation and mutual trust.
